Twitter to MP3 Converter
Use this Twitter to MP3 converter to save the audio of a video posted on X as an MP3 file. It is free, needs no account and works in your browser.
How to convert a Twitter video to MP3
- Copy the link to the post (x.com or twitter.com, ending in /status/…).
- Paste it into the box above and press “Find video”. The MP3 option appears only after the video has been found.
- Press “Extract MP3”, wait for the conversion to finish, then press “Save MP3”.
What the Twitter MP3 download gives you
The audio track of the video is converted to MP3 at 128 kbps. The conversion runs in your browser: the video comes straight from X’s video server (video.twimg.com) and the finished MP3 is not uploaded to GetMyTweet. We never ask for your X login.
When MP3 is not possible
- The video has no audio track. This is the case for GIF posts, which X stores as silent MP4 files.
- The account is private or protected, or the post was deleted.
- X does not expose the post publicly (some sensitive or age-restricted posts).
- You passed 15 lookups in a minute. Wait a minute and try again.
Copyright
Music and speech in a post usually belong to someone else. A public post does not give you permission to re-upload or reuse its audio, so get permission from the rights holder.
Other formats
To save the video itself, go to the Twitter video downloader. To turn a clip into an animation, use the Twitter GIF downloader.
FAQ
Can I convert several videos at once?
No. The tool handles one post at a time.
Why is there no MP3 button for my video?
Find the video first. If it still does not work, the video probably has no audio track.
Is the audio quality the same as the original?
The MP3 is encoded at 128 kbps, so it is a compressed copy of the audio in the video.
